Who We Are
CARE Clinic opened January 2010 in response to local medical professionals’ concern over patients foregoing unaffordable routine/acute health care; local medical center’s high rates of uncompensated care; and Community Needs Assessments. As a nonprofit clinic, we provided medical care/prescription assistance to uninsured, low-income individuals in our community from the converted emergency room of the former St. John’s Hospital, Red Wing. Since then, we’ve expanded services to include urgent dental care/mental health care in 2011; optical services 2012; MNsure Navigation 2013; Spanish-speaking psychotherapy 2015; preventative/restorative dental care, and legal services 2020; and mobile dental clinics to public schools 2021.

CARE Clinic is located in the Seminary Professional Building at Mayo Clinic Health System Red Wing.
Hours and Parking

CARE Dental Clinic is open every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Call ahead for Friday and Saturday availability.

CARE Medical/Mental Health Clinic is open every Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Registration begins at 4:00 PM and closes at 6:30 PM.

Tuesday evening services are provided on a first come, first served basis.

Parking: Please park in designated parking spaces ONLY. Street parking is not available. Enter CARE Clinic through Door #1 at the end of Hill Street.
